I hope your birthday and every day forward is a glorious day full of fun and laughter.

* I just dropped 5 yr. old off at Kindergarten. It was chaos, he was freaked, I was freaked. Makes for a long day wondering how he is doing, hoping noone is mean to him and that his teacher is wonderful and makes sure he is safe.  *sniffles*

* Work is crazy. Everyone running around kind of freaking out...so I just shut my door and let them have at it.

* Had a very nice weekend of nothing. Actually went to bed early, watched movies and just lazed around. This is needed every once in awhile.

* I want the weather to turn cool. I am sick of 104 degree temps. I want to wear my new trench coat and boots...looks like it could be awhile.

* Ok, that is all I have and I am hungry. Ate no breakfast so I am off to find something other than coffee and candy bars which is usually all there is around here.

1. I grew up living the most normal, white picket fence childhood you can imagine. I sometimes feel this is why I am so easily bored.

2.  I spent the first 3 years of college studying sports information and broadcasting, got all freaked out about stability and changed. One of the two things I regret.

3.  I have an unwarranted love of peanut butter and I hate anything flavored grape.

4.  I make a killer appletini, which I have often in my palm tree painted martini glass.

5.  I have two sons, 3 and 5, one is pure angel and the other pure devil. And they are both amazing.

6.  I have a massive fear of driving in thunderstorms, I don't know why. I just kind of panic.

7.  My favorite room in my house is my bedroom. It is painted the most glorious color green and is my sanctuary.

8. I kidnapped my dog from a neighbor years ago. She was abused, I opened my door and that was that.

Why is it when I have one day off in the middle of a week, I come back and think the whole day is Monday. Mondays hate me, this week Wednesdays hate me. 

On a brighter note:  A wonderful BBQ yesterday, with much food, drink and frivolity. Watched the firework spectacular from the comfort of my front porch, in my pjs, through sprinkles of rain. It was nice and lovely and all that stuff. 

Had the most glorious package at my front door this weekend, a box full of Irish tea. Itis always nice to get surprises like that on my front door step. *tips cup* to the cousin who obviously knew I had run out a few weeks ago.

For some reason I bought Season 5 QAF, I told myself I wouldn't do it, but I am kind of weird in the way I just felt odd not completing my set. But now it begs me from my drawer to watch it...I hear it calling my name but I WILL NOT do it. I am saving myself the angst and distress. 

It has been raining this morning, and outside my window is the most glorious rainbow.  Now I have the rainbow song stuck in my head, you know the one that tells 5 yr. olds what the colors are.  and I am not seeing the pink.

That is about all I have for today and I need a Carmal Frappacino so...I hope all of you are having a wonderful week and all of my fellow Americans had a sparkeling fourth.

* I took a sick day yesterday, not that I was sick just had some tests and decided to just stay home. This was not a good thing...I was ridiculously bored, kept flicking the remote and actually watched 30 minutes of some person doing aerobics. If I did not have my hand in a frito bag I might have done said excercise. I was really hoping for relaxing but didn't happen.

* You know I love my new Snow Patrol album beyond reason, you ask why. If I turn it up loud enough I can drown out the temps Nick Lachey.    *shudders*

* I have this great fear that one day someone will walk into my office and  find me buried under pink and purple post its. 

* Why is it that the only band aids I could find were race car and Scooby. So I have one of each decorating my hands, cute.

* All of you out there having hard time right now, and there are many. I am thinking about you and sending love.

I hope you have the most wonderful of days and all your Birthday wishes come true.

*  When my secretary goes to bed at night something happens.  Every thing she has done, heard, seen that day is sucked out by some unknown force.  She starts each day with a blank slate, this causes me great frustration...BUT I am having a very good hair week.

* Stepping on a hot wheel car in the middle of the night with bare feet hurts like a bitch...BUT 3yr. old found my favorite sunglasses that I feared lost, in my cubbie, um I didn't realize I had a cubbie.

* I managed about 3 hours of sleep last night, and the coffee pot blew up this morning...BUT I had chinese for lunch and it was yummy!

* I haven't seen the top of my desk in weeks. I am thinking it is a nice wood grain probably very pretty, I picked it out. Every time a little piece starts to show the temp, whose music makes my head throb, throws something in that space...BUT Tomorrow is Friday, then Saturday and I will be in a boat, in my new blue bikini, with a cooler of beer and a bag of bugles...Only a few things better than that.

See lovely people this game works.  Hoping all of you are finding your positive

* Good weekend with baseball, barbecue and plenty of homemade margaritas.

* I want sleep, like eight straight hours of uninterrupted, dreamfilled sleep.

* I just ate a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast. As I should feel guilty about this I just don't.

* I so look forward to summer at work, it is usually quiet, I get caught up, get organized and most important catch up on fic reading I have missed. This summer doesn't look like any of this is going to happen, ergh.

* It amazed me how you could be going on with your day and boom one person can smash it to bits, continually. Like they take great joy in doing it. *shakes head*

* Note to self: After coming home at 6am from gym, DO NOT go back to bed just to lay for a minute. It just doesn't work that way.

* Should I be concerned that my 3 yr old boy is stealing pink hairbows from fellow female preschoolers? He doesn't want to wear them, just keep them.

* RL has basically chewed me up and spit me out lately, and now I am trying to pick up the pieces in no particular order.

* It is raining, not just raining it is all black and stormy, I need to be back in my bed with covers over my head.

* I have a stark craving for strawberry cake. I don't know where this is coming from or where to get any.

* I have no desire to work today. I am feeling rather lazy, this is really not a good thing.

* I need to learn when my neighbor asks me over for one drink, that it is never just one. A couple of hours of laughter and craziness, makes for a very tired person the next day.

* I have become somewhat obsessed with reading RPG, which is odd since I never thought that would be something I would enjoy but there are a few characters that I can't get enough of.

I am setting off to spend my day, testing 4 year old children. Yes, believe it, it is true. As ridiculous as it sounds it is mandated that we test these wonderful little people in how to read a pie chart. I still have yet to get a full understanding on the reasoning for this, besides the government wanting to make sure I am doing my job. I could continue on a huge soap box, which around the office I will be on all week, I will spare you the grief. This is just another sign the Federal Government has no idea how to educate young children.

On a lighter note, wonderful weekend full of sun and fun. Hoping all of you had a wonderful one and a have a glorious week.

My job is sucking the life out of me, extended hours, crazy staff and my phone is ringing every two minutes. Literally I can't keep up and I am thinking I don't want to today.

If I was not a nice person, I would inform the strange man at the gym that at 5 am I am in no mood for conversation. Even with earphones in my and my obvious blank stare he continues to talk, of which all I see is moving lips. "Please buddy catch the hint, never gonna happen!"

I have a mad desire to be sitting at a baseball game with hot dog and beer in hand.

It is a glorious day, sunshine and nice breeze and my window will not open.

Took a break and went out this morning and colored eggs with a group of wonderful 4 year olds. You would be amazed at how many different and strange colors you can make by dipping your egg in different colors continuously. And then try asking them what color they made, you would be amazed at the answers. Now I have a beautiful basket of the strangest colored eggs on my desk.

I am in desperate need of a holiday. By now I have all my plans usually planned out with the anticipation of going somewhere, this year is different. With this reason or another I haven't figured out when or if the holiday time will come. This causes me to long for the beach, laying on a lounge chair, cold drink in hand, feeling the hot sun and cool breeze, laying there with my eyes closed listening to the water hit the shore. Oh well, instead I will trapse out to my rainy day and drown my beachy dreams in a double vanilla latte.

In other news, idiot asst. has decided that her fear of actual work is to much and resigned...so only a month left of her constant emailed bible versus of how I am going to hell because I am evil, HA!

* Break is over, I have been ridiculously busy at work, I want it to be Saturday already...

* My boss just came in and told me that the asst. I got rid of months ago is coming back to me. He needs something to do with her. This causes me great grief, as she is worthless. "Thanks a lot." me  "My pleasure" him. ASS

* Guess who has a cat in their garage? Me.  It was storming last night, he looked sad and I caved.  I am weak I know. How long do you think it will take him to make it in my house? 

* Have you ever felt that you are going through life and kind of losing yourself? Does this make sense? I go through routines, do my work and feel like I am disappearing. I don't like it.

* My basketball brackets suck and I so wanted to win that bet!

* I have hired two of the greatest teachers EVER! They were trained, they went to work and their classroom rocks. This is such a good thing at the moment, almost nothing compares.

* I have a lunch date with an old friend, sushi, this is a very good thing.

* I came to work early, had coffee and cake for breakfast (bad), and read porn.  Every day should start like this.

* The weather is sunny and warm today. It makes me long to be out, laying in the grass with a good book. Oh well, one can dream.

* Sorry no ten, my phone is ringing and my email button keeps popping up, I have lost my train of thought. This probably means I need another cup of coffee.

1. Spring break starts around 11ish, or whenever I decide to leave work. As I am excited about this, the weather is suppose to be cold, rainy and possible snow. I live in the south, it is suppose to be sunny and bright. I haven't figured out why I didn't plan better and go somewhere.

2. I have a cat taking up residence on my front porch. I like cats, except when they stare in the office window and my dog barks constantly to no avail.

3. Vanilla lattes make any day better.

4. Weekend was good. Lots of good food, good drink and good friends, it is such a shame all the great fun only last 2 days.

5. It amazes me how employees quit with no notice and then put me down as a reference. Idiots!

6. It makes me all kinds of happy when I am told I am beautiful, even when it is only from a 3 yr. old.

I made it to 6, which is good for me on most days. Hope everyone is having a great day and had a wonderful weekend.
